Makerere university has decentralized the issuing of academic transcripts to the respective colleges to easy service delivery according to Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe.

“With this arrangement, the Academic Registrar will send printed Makerere University academic transcripts to the Office of the Principal in the respective Colleges,” Makerere university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe said during a media briefing held on Monday 30th, October 2017.

He said the graduates will be in position to receive Academic transcripts from the respective Colleges.

He added that the Academic Registrar is making modalities to ensure the successful implementation of this decision.

“As the Uganda Police continues with its investigations aimed at bringing the individuals involved in the alleged alteration of marks to book, the University Management instituted an internal mechanism to verify academic results”, Prof. Nawangwe noted.
