Manchester United agree personal terms with Daniel James

Manchester United are on the verge of capturing their first summer signing after agreeing personal terms with Swansea winger Daniel James.

James has been linked with a move to Manchester United the whole of this month with Solskjaer aiming at building his team ahead of next season.

As reported by Sky Sports, the Welsh winger has agreed personal terms with Manchester United and talks are going on between the Swansea and Manchester United.

The report further says that Daniel James is set to become Manchester United first summer signing. James has only one year left on his contract and is valued at £15m.

James 21, who nearly joined Leeds United in the last transfer earned a call up to the Wales squad by Ryan Giggs in the next month’s Euro 2020 qualifying round matches against Croatia and Hungary.He netted his first international goal against Slovakia in Cardiff in March 2019.

The winger scored four goals and assisted seven times in 33 league appearances for Swansea this season.

Manchester United remain linked with other new faces that include; Lille’s Nicholas Pepe, Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt and others.
