The parliament of Uganda has revealed that it has plans of honoring the current Miss Uganda, Quiin Abenakyo.

The 22 year-old Makerere University Business School student recently got into a wall of fame when she was crowned Miss World Africa in the concluded Miss World 2018 beauty pageant held in Sanya, China.

She became the first ever Uganda to attain such a victory and it is on these grounds that the speaker of Parliament Hon.

Rebecca Kadaga made a decision to pay tribute to the inspiring youths of Uganda.

“We need to be in the habit of celebrating our young people that do great things for the country.

She has raised our flag, is running a great project to stop teenage pregnancies, the House will definitely honor her,” Kadaga said.

The house also plans to honor Denis Onyango, the Uganda Cranes captain who emerged CAF’s best player and best goal keeper last year.
