The Busitema University Human rights club Team became the best after producing the best orator, Ebit Larmbert in the Human Rights 6th Annual Inter-University Debate.

The Foundation for Human Rights Initiative in partnership with Uganda Christian University and with support from the European Union, on 9th March 2013 held the 6th Inter- University Human Rights Competition at Uganda Christian University.

Universities that participated were; Kampala International University, Nkumba University, Makerere University, Kyambogo University, Uganda Christian University, Gulu University, Busitema university, Islamic University in Uganda- Mbale Campus, Islamic University in Uganda Famale’s Campus, Uganda Pentecostal University, Mountains of the Moon University, Uganda Martyrs University-Nkozi , St Lawrence University, Muteesa 1 Royal University, Cavendish University, Busoga University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
