A total of 796 students have been awarded diplomas and certificates at Buganda Royal Business and Technical institute.

The occasion was presided over by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi after commissioning a new building.

The Kabaka advised that there is need to plan for market oriented courses like Business and technical education for easy integration into the job market.

“I’m happy that this institute producing students who are employable and can initiate employment”, Kabaka advised.

The Kabaka however decried the negative attitude of most youths towards technical and vocational education, he called upon the ministry of education to fight this problem.

He also encouraged students to be accountable, respect others, manage time and be effective communicators. These will make you succed whenever you go”.

The function was attended by ministers from Bugada Kingdom, Dons from other Institutions, Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago among others.
