Uganda Communications Commission Skills students at Islamic University of Uganda(IUIU) in Film Production

Uganda Communications Commission has equipped Students at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) in the film and related fields.

The training took week and targeted Mass Communication students and facilitated by United in Film, and Real Impact Foundation.

The workshop entailed skilled in cinematography, screenwriting, editing, sound and production.

The UCC partnered with the Media Council, Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), and the Pornography Control Committee (PCC) to bring forth the training.

The workshop intended to raise awareness on the standards and laws that govern the film sector, especially regarding production, distribution, exhibition, classification as well the protection and enforcement of copyright.
