Balancing academic work and a part-time job at IUIU females campus Kabojja

Balancing academic work and a part-time job is a challenge for many college students. Meet Nalubega Aisha a student at IUIU females universityIn Uganda Kabojja, who is determined to make the most of her university experience despite the challenges.

Aisha is a full-time student and works part time at stonehaven Kampala. She wakes up early every morning to attend classes and there she head straight to work after class.. aIs a full-time student and works part time at a local restaurant. She wakes up early every morning to attend classes and there she head straight to work after class.Her job requires her to work long hours and often lead into evening, leaving her with little time for studying or-socializing.

Despite the challenges,Aisha committed to balancing academic work and her job. She has developed a strict schedule that allows her to prioritize her academic work while still meeting her work obligations. She wakes up to study before class and takes advantage of any free time she has during the day to work on assignments.

Aisha’s hard work and dedication have paid off. She has maintained a high GPA and has been recognized by a professor for  her Academic achievements. She has also been promoted to the management position at the restaurant where she works, which has given her more flexibility in the schedule and allowed her to work for a fewer hours.

Mr Habibu Semakula also says;

It’s possible that some lecturers may underestimate the amount of time and effort that students put into balancing work and academic responsibilities. They may assume that students have more free time than they actually do, or that they are not taking their studies seriously if they are working part-time.

However, it’s important to remember that many students work part-time out of necessity, in order to pay for tuition, rent, and other expenses. Balancing work and academic responsibilities can be incredibly challenging, and it requires a lot of time management, self-discipline, and sacrifice.

That being said, there are also many lecturers who are understanding and supportive of students who work part-time. They recognize the value of real-world experience, and understand that students may have to make trade-offs in order to achieve their goals.

If you are a student who is working part-time, it’s important to communicate with your lecturers about your situation, and to ask for help and support when you need it. Many university students struggle to balance academic work and have a part time job, but we’ve had work and sedication,It’s possible to succeed, if you are a university student fishing similar challenges, remember to Prioritize your academic work develop a strict schedule, and took advantage of any free time you have to work on your assignments.
