JOB DETAILS:
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing
JOB TITLE: Brand Manager
REPORTS TO: Executive Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
2. Shape and communicate company vision and mission
3. Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
4. Manage a team of marketing and advertising people working on brand initiatives
5. Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
6. Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
7. Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
8. Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
9. Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
10. Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
11. Devise innovative growth strategies
12. Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5 years of experience as a Brand Manager or similar role
2. Creative thinking, good understanding of the market trends
3. Outstanding leadership, communication, and analytical skills
4. Ability to generate new concepts/ideas
5. Understanding of retail selling in the private sector
6. Impact on company’s success
7. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
8. Team player
9. Good time-management skills
10. Great interpersonal and communication skills
