News reaching the Campus Times is that Eddie Kenzo is set to perform live at a series of concerts in the UK dubbed Afrikafest.
GRAJOH Talent Management and Public Relations announced that the celebrated Ugandan musician will headline their event, Africafest UK series that is scheduled for 10th and 11th October at Iqbal Banqueting Suite, Birmingham and the Royal Regency, London, respectively.
During these series, GRAJOH revealed that they are also to reintroduce UK based Ugandan singer and producer, Paddy Dee Nangabo, famous for songs like Lydia and Sumulula who will also be performing with a live band.
Afrikafest is a GRAJOH Talent Management and Public Relations Ltd social-cultural festival designed to celebrate African talent.
The event organizers revealed that Kenzo had been chosen due to popular demand. “After the success and fame he got due to his ‘Sitya Loss’ video, Kenzo has become a global phenomenon,” his manager told ChimpLyf.
“We are thrilled to announce that Eddy Kenzo and his full band from Uganda will headline GRAJOH’s Inaugural Afrikafest UK series at the Iqbal Banqueting Suite Birmingham on October 10 and in London at the Royal Regency on Oct 11th,” Johnson Mujungu, the CEO of GRAJOH Ltd said.
Kenzo is currently on tour in the US where he has graced several successful concerts alongside other African big shot artists like Iyanya and Davido.
