Rapper Eric Opoka popularly known as Eezzy enjoyed a stellar rise during the covid-19 lockdown.

His song, “Tumbiza sound” which was birthed out of lockdown restrictions became an anthem of sorts. When the lockdown restrictions were eased, Eezzy like many artistes looked to hit the ground running.

Unfortunately for him, he was pegged back by another setback when goons hit him and left him for dead while returning from a performance. He was admitted in intensive care for ages but is now back.

Latest news on the grapevine is that he is planning a concert dubbed “I survive, Peace & Love”. With a bulk of his supporters in Northern Uganda where he hails, Eezzy reveals it is just befitting he holds the concert there.

“The show will be going down on 6th August at Acholi Inn, Gulu town. The subsequent shows will follow up in Bweyale in Patwoni and Front Page in Lira on the 13th and 14th August respectively,” he said,.
