Embattled Kampala International University student tests negative of Ebolla

Kampala International University student was over the weekend retained at Entebbe International airport after showing symptoms of lethal Ebola disease.

The student whose names were kept a secret was travelling from Lagos Nigeria with Kenyan airways.

According to the commissioner for Healthy Services in Healthy Ministry, Dr. Anthony Mbonye, explained that “the suspect started vomiting on the plane and was rushed to our screening center upon arrival at Entebbe airport”. Mbonye told reporters in Entebbe.

However, the good news was that the students was Ebola free after the test”.

Ebola has claimed over 2500 lives of people in West Africa since the year began.
