Job Summary: The Human Resource Operations Manager will be in charge of the development, review and implementation of a system for talent acquisition and management by monitoring of deployment /utilization of human resources in line with the Bank HR policy, and

HR work plan.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Actively engage departments to identify current and future staffing needs of the bank deliver and interventions in line with staffing plan and strategic business plan.
  • Implement an efficient and effective productivity driven resourcing strategy and monitor delivery in line with the strategic plan.
  • The incumbent will deliver organizational change through coordinating the review of structures, defining jobs and projecting staffing needs as per agreed productivity ratios and the strategic plan
  • Manage the roll out and cascading Performance Management and appraisal System as means of improving individual and overall bank performance and generate periodic reports.
  • Oversee periodic skills audits, maintain an up-to-date database and generate analytical reports for all Bank staff in line with HRpolicy, HR Business plan, corporate strategy and objectives
  • The Human Resource Operations Manager will monitor and review bank HR metrics in order to define staffing risks and challenges and engage line departments and stake holders on corrective and collective actions.
  • Co-ordinate and implement the placement, deployment and transfer of staff in line with approved budget, business plan and HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Human Resource Operations Manager Banking opportunity  should hold a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in the in the field of HRM, Organisational psychology.
  • A minimum of three or more years of practical and progressive experience as Manager in a big corporate entity.
  • Prior experience in using the balanced score card as a performance management tool.
  • Organisational Development (OD) skills.
  • Good project management skills
  • Possess the ability to plan, schedule, organize and engage line managers on key HR priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Impeccable level of integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Age: Below 35 years
