Job Title: SMC Team Leader

The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is in receipt of UNICEF and PEPFAR grant through CDC.

Job Summary: The SMC Team Leader will offer supervisory services to the SMC teams and technical support in community engagement for mobilization and demand creation in line with HIV prevention interventions and national SMC policy

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The job holder should possess a Diploma in Clinical medicine and community health or equivalent or equivalent from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Allied health professional’s council
• A minimum of two years’ experience in clinic or hospital- based services with one year of experience in SMC. HIV/AIDS and ART is an added advantage.
• At least one year experience at a supervisory role
