UWONET stands to promote and enhance networking, collective visioning and action among membership and with different actors working towards development and the transformation of unequal gender relations in the Ugandan society.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Driving vehicle for official duty and assignments;
  • Performing basic maintenance of the vehicle;
  • Report major technical mechanical faults to the supervising officer
  • Maintaining basic records regarding the vehicle as instructed;
  • Ensuring the safety of the vehicle while on duty
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold an “O” level certificate
  • Possess a Valid Driving Permit of Class C or D
  • Clean driving record
  • Possess basic mechanical and vehicle maintenance skills.
  • Basic first aid knowledge is an added advantage.

Languages: Proficiency in English, Lusoga and Luganda is an added advantage.
Age: Below 50 years.
