MBA SCHOLARSHIPS: The Trustees of the Greendale Foundation is offering MBA scholarships to students in Southern and Eastern Africa.

The scholarships are aimed at providing access to disadvantaged students who are committed to developing international management expertise in Africa and who plan their careers in the Southern and East African regions.

Host Institution(s): INSEAD in France/Singapore

Field of study: Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Number of Awards: Not specified

Target group: Disadvantaged Southern and East Africans

Scholarship value/inclusions: The Greendale Foundation MBA Scholarship will cover €35,000 of the tuition.

Who is Eligible for the scholarship: Candidates must be nationals from Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa (disadvantaged backgrounds), Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe (from disadvantaged backgrounds) who have undergone the major part of their education in Southern or East Africa. Preference will be given to those who have worked there prior to INSEAD.  The candidate’s financial situation will also be taken into consideration.  Scholarship recipients must return to work in these African regions within 3 years of graduation.

Application instructions: You are required to submit two essays to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship deadline coincides with admission deadline.  For December 2016 class, the deadlines are 20 April, 16 June and 12 August 2015.
