About US:

Tetra Tech International Development, a leading provider of consulting, engineering, and technical services worldwide, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for various potential Technical Specialist positions on an anticipated USAID-funded Feed the Future/Water and Food Systems for Resilient Communities Activity.

About USAID Project:

The anticipated five-year Activity aims to inclusively and equitably improve integrated water resource management, strengthen food systems, and improve water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) service delivery so communities will be empowered to mitigate and adapt to shocks and stressors, thus maintaining their nutrition, health, and livelihood wellbeing.

Tetra Tech seeks mid-career professionals specialized in the following areas:

• WASH
• Nutrition
• Financial Services
• Agriculture and Value Chain
• Resilience
• Natural Resource Management
• Integrated Water Resource Management
• Gender and Youth Engagement

Candidates with primary qualifications and experience in more than one of these areas should indicate their interest in multiple positions in their cover letter.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience) in a field related to the position of interest.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in rural development projects, preferably in the Karamoja region.
• Experience on USAID -funded projects preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders (including district governments, the private sector, and local organizations).
• Professional fluency (written, oral) in English required.
• These positions are only open to Ugandan nationals
