Uganda Management Institute to start anti-corruption course

Uganda Management Institute’s (UMI) will start offering a course on Anti-corruption strategies course targeting key government officials.

James Nkata, the UMI Director General announced the new postgraduate diploma course at their 12th graduation ceremony held recently.

He said the course would equip participants with the knowledge and attitude necessary to fight corruption.

Nkata assured the public that the course would be officially start in September 2014.

“Corruption is a vice that is learnt; nobody was born corrupt. Students will be comprehensively taught how to deal with the problem,” the Director said.
