
The Uganda University Quality Assurance Forum(UUQAF) has advised lecturers to incorporate some of the technologies available into the learning processes of their students.
UUQAF claims that the world has since moved from the traditional means of education to a digitized and more simplified mode but showed concern of Ugandan lecturers who are still using pamphlets to teach at University.
“At times they don’t labor to explain their notes well yet the students pay money to receive lectures in a simple and easy way to understand,” Dr. Ritah Makumbi, the president of the forum decried.
According to Peter Rwanga, a quality assurance officer, every department at the University should have a quality check committee to ensure better service delivery.
” Now a department like that of the Deans of Students, how can it deal with students if they don’t have a quality assurance officers?
” he asked Frantically.
Uganda University Quality Assurance Forum(UUQAF) is a Forum responsible for good service delivery in higher institutions.
