As the world celebrates women’s day on 8th, March every year. some women ask themselves if they are worthy to celebrate the day, women’s day is mistaken as mother’s day yet these are different days for women to celebrate in their lives.
Women aged between 20-30 years who are not married neither mothers out of marriage ask themselves if they are worthy to be part of the celebrations, below are the characteristics of the woman celebrated on 8th, march every year;
SHE IS COURAGEOUS.
In many occasions women are faced with challenges which are environment related issues mostly domestic violence and others biological issues like raising a baby from day one in the womb up to the last day of her life on earth.
In Africa we have a proverb “a woman builds a family whereas a man builds a house”.
SHE DOESN’T DEPEND ON ANYONE ELSE
A strong woman always strives to have her own financial powers in the society so as to reduce the dependency levels on the friends, relatives, family and groupmates.
For every woman to be happy, its of importance to reduce the expectations of dependence on the fellows. For example women in Africa is referred strong if they provide salt and soap for the family in the absence of the head of the family.
SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS.
Strong women always identifies themselves who they are to the society, strong women will know when they are married so as the expected roles as a wife and mother are fulfilled as expected, they will know when they are at work and mostly identifies the goals to b e achieved at work for the development of herself and the society.
SHE BUILDS OTHERS UP
She builds up others in terms of guidance and cancelling, financial support as well as spiritual support to the society.
SHE DOESN’T LET THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS INFLUENCE HER.
As a strong woman you need to know when to do something for your own benefit.
the opinions of others may help you one time and still they misleads at another time.
For a a strong woman always is not taken up by public opinion more especially in this era of social medial that has influenced many to be regarded as weak women in the society.
With the different social media platforms weak women have lost all because of the influence of others on those platforms which is termed as social media pressure.
SHE CONTINUALLY WORKS ON BEING A BETTER, STRONGER STRONG WOMAN.
A strong woman never gives up on her goals.
