Job Title:   Workshop Manager

Duty Station:  Lira, Uganda

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure in operational terms the coordination of equipment maintenance teams.
  • Allocate human and material resources for the various activities necessary for the proper functioning of the production process and equipment
  • Ensure the good state of maintenance and conservation of equipment and workshops
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness and organization of staff and work areas
  • Validate the record of operations carried out and follow-up of workshop work and parts requisitions.
  • Propose acquisition of stocks, workshop tools and staff training.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should hold a Valid academic Diploma or Technical Certificated Training Course on Mechanic Area (Preferential)
  • At least ten years of related work experience
  • Training Certificates with different Equipments Brand ( Light and heavy Equipments)- ( Preferential)
  • Good Knowledge on Diagnostic Systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and request parts
  • Ability to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, torque converters, differentials, final drives, hydraulic systems, tracks, ground attack material, bolts and implement systems
  • Preventive, Corrective Maintenance and their Operation
  • Available to Work in Shifts
