The pigs that some Uganda youths move with to parliament

There was drama at the Ugandan Parliament last week when some youths pulled out two piglets that were painted in yellow and dropped them at the Parliamentary House while demonstrating against alleged massive corruption by some Members of Parliament.

The two youths were arrested by Parliamentary security and detained.

The were dressed in T-Shirts with a list of grievances with slogans like  the youth as members of the “Jobless brotherhood”.

On Friday 19th.June, the suspects were remanded to Luzira prison  after appearing before Grade One Magistrate at City Hall Magistrate’s Court over sneaking piglets in Parliament.

The two denied the charges.

A few months ago a graduate from Makerere university rode a bicycle for 380KM from Mitooma District in Western Uganda to Kampala to demonstrate his dissatisfaction over the high unemployment rate among the youths in the country.
