Manchester City’s forward player, Erling Haaland has written his name in the history book of the UEFA Champions League.
The Norwegian equaled Lionel Messi’s record joining the league of players to score five goals in a particular game in the history of the competition. Haaland scored five goals in th second leg of the second-round tie against RB Leipzig.
The 22-year-old has the highest number of hattricks in Europe’s top five leagues this season. He is also the first player to score 30 UCL goals in a less number of games.
Messi scored five goals in March 2012 against Bayern Leverkusen while Luis Adriano scored five goals in October 2014 against Bate Borisov.
