KCB Bank Uganda which is part of KCB Group, East Africa’s largest commercial bank that was established in 1896. Over the years, the Bank has grown and spread its wings into Tanzania, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi completing the East African circuit in the year 2012. Today, the Group has the largest branch network in the region with over 238 branches, 950 ATMs and 8,000 agents offering banking services on a 24/7 basis in East Africa. KCB Bank Uganda was established in the year 2007 and has grown to become one of Uganda’s top ten commercial banks. Currently KCB Bank Uganda has 14 branches complemented with 16 ATMs spread on Kampala Road, Commercial Plaza, Ben Kiwanuka, Luwum Street, Oasis Mall Sixth Street, Arua, Elgon Masaba, Fort Portal, Gulu, Hoima, Lira, Mbarara and Jinja that offer trade financing, corporate and retail banking services to customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Business Strategy:
·         Develop and manage a segmented sales strategy for the region taking into account the growth potential, competitor activity and the existing customer base.
·         The incumbent will define measurable business growth objectives, business performance routines, management products and measures for sales and service within the recognised market segment.
·         Define the sales culture for the particular region well as the multi-channel market strategy.
·         Response for the sales development of business cases and the analysis of market potential for the region
2. HR Management:
·         Effectively delegate authority and responsibility in line with business objectives, to ensure the empowerment, motivation and effectiveness of all immediate subordinates.
·         Actively monitor and manage the performance and development of management and team leaders within the region. This includes conducting quarterly, mid-year and annual performance appraisals as well as moderating all appraisals for the area.
·         Foster and entrepreneurial approach to the business by way of example.
·         Develop and maintain an open communication channel with immediate subordinates and support staff to foster teamwork and facilitate the change processes.
·         Provide coaching for business performance within the area team.
·         Support and drive training interventions to address performance/development gaps.
3. Campaign Management: In charge of overseeing all aspects pertaining to the implementation of sales and Service campaigns as initiated by Retail strategic or tactical decision.
4. Service Management:
·         Ensures service meets expected KCBU standard and reports / returns are filed for all branches in the region.
·         Provides centralised problem resolution for all business units in the region.
·         Manages migration to alternative channels
·         Implements service initiatives to improve ratings on CEBS and CUSSATS.
5. Risk Management: Works in liaison with the Operational Excellence Manager all aspects of risk / controls including monitoring and evaluating audit and inspection reports for all points of representation on the area, initiating issue closure actions where necessary.
6. Cost Management: Manage all aspects relating to the cost of sales and service delivery for the area, within determined financial parameters
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·         The applicant should preferably hold a good Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and related certification
·         A minimum of ten years banking experience with competencies in branch banking and branch management experience.
·         Prior experience in managing a diverse range of people and activities are essential
