Job Title: Maintenance Controller Electrical
Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited, a leading water bottling company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller, the second largest brewing group in the world; and winner of People’s Choice Awards 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Controller is mainly responsible for co-coordinating, coaching and controlling the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and providing specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize plant and equipment availability and reliability\
- Optimize process performance
- Oversee planned maintenance system integrity and optimal usage
- Facilitate problem solving
- Responsible for optimizing team processes
- Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
- Manage Human Resources
- Actively facilitate problem solving
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Three or more years’ experience in the Electrical Engineering field
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a food processing industry
- Past experience in a leadership position is desired
- High degree of personal integrity
- Keen eye for detail
- The applicant must be highly conceptualized and possess innovative thinking
- Good influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance
- Goal orientation and strong output bias.
- Highly proactive mindset, self-driven, self-starter
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Computer literacy skills i.e. Microsoft Word, Power point and excel is a must
- Good communication skills
- Customer centric disposition.
- A good team player
