Job Title:  Customer Care Officer

Spear Motors Limited is the sole distributor of Mercedes Benz Chrysler and Jeep vehicles and it was founded in 1973 by Prof. Gordon Wavamunno. Spear Motors Ltd is the Sole official distributor for Daimler AG of Stuttgart, Germany the manufactures of Mercedes Benz. It is also the official distributor for other legendary brands like Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Great Wall Motors (Wingle double cabin and Hover Station wagons), Kinglong Buses and Deutz Fahr Tractors.

Job Summary: The Customer Care Officer will actively promote and enhance customer services in the company to maximize customer satisfaction for existing and prospective clients of the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Offer cordial customer service to the company’s Clients
  • Update and maintain an effective customer complaint management system and coordinate complaints handling closely with the Service Advisors
  • Maintain company customer service standards by following up customer complaints for resolution
  • Conduct regular workshop visits to check and oversee customer service standards
  • Consult with clients on issues related to services provided by the company particularly with regard to customer service standards
  • Obtain adequate feedback from clients for analysis and review and revert accordingly
  • Analyze and review assessments, comments and complaints from clients for improvements and appropriate action
  • Advise Service Manager and Sales Director on customer service standards and client’s assessment and feedback
  • Carry out customer care sensitization programs for all staff aimed at general improvement of customer service
  • Make recommendation to Service Manager, Parts Manager and Sales Director on customer care issues
  • Make periodic reviews and submit reports to the Service Manager and Sales Director on customer service issues

 Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The Customer Care Officer should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Detailed knowledge of Customer Management principles
  • A minimum of four or more years’ experience in Customer Service in a diverse environment
  • Professional training in Customer Service
  • Proficiency in computer use, including social medial
  • Excellent interpersonal, public relations and communication skills
  • Team Leader skills
  • Self driven
