Job Title: Theatre Assistants (Several Vacancies)

The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) headquartered at Mulago Hospital, is a comprehensive HIV care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research.

Baylor-Uganda works with the MOH in a number of Districts in western Uganda to strengthen health systems for improved delivery of HIV/AIDS services. Jointly with Kabarole, Kamwenge and Kyenjojo Districts, we are looking for experienced, committed and hard working individuals prepared to work as ‘District based staff’ under Saving Mothers Giving life project in the health facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The Theatre Assistants should hold any medical related training and a relevant training in theatre assisting.
  • At least one year of relevant working experience.
  • Possess key personal competences in team and communication skills, must be dynamic, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
  • Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
