Internet Bus Launched: MTN Uganda has revealed the state-of-the-art bus named the MTN Internet Bus which is aimed at enhancing ICT Education in the country.

The MTN Internet Bus is Equipped with sixteen high-end computer working stations.

It also boasts of a high speed internet connectivity service that uses the world class data infrastructure powered by MTN 3G and 4G LTE Technology with Wi-Fi coverage.

 Mazen Mroué, Chief Executive Officer- MTN Uganda said the Bus will go a long way in driving the organisation’s commitment to help build and develop the capacity of Ugandans as well as strengthening the nation’s economy through ICT awareness initiatives across all regions of the country.

He also said the Bus will assist in the promotion of computer literacy in rural areas since the Bus would provide ICT training capacity with the provision of basic computer skills and integrated e-Learning.

He was speaking at a Press conference officiated by the ICT Minister, John Nasasira at the MTN’s offices (Nyonyi Garden) on Thursday 29th May.
