Singer Maurice Kirya canceled his performance at Levels which was slated on Monday after testing positive for COVID-19. Kirya announced on his Twitter social media account that he was positive.

“To my fans and friends, I will not be able to perform at Levels tomorrow (Monday 13th) as today I tested positive for COVID-19. I would like to extend my profound apologies to you all and the management of Levels for the inconvenience that this might have caused,” he tweeted.

This week, the Ministry of Health confirmed 116 new cases making the confirmed cases  166,237.

Ministry of Health asked the public to continue being vigilant and observe the SOPs put in place.
