Job Title: Brand Manager

Movit Products Limited is one of the Leading Cosmetics Manufacturers in the Great Lakes region. Movit Products Ltd, a cosmetic manufacturing company was formed after a careful assessment of the community development needs, a feeling of Ugandans as well as a trend in global development.       

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical brand plans.
  • Responsible for the development of current and future forecasts for the brand and updates
  • Oversee the brand budget to support financial objectives
  • Partner with the advertising unit to set communication y strategies and develop advertising platforms/executions that maximize business results
  • Steer the commercialization and in-market execution of product launches including partnering with sales management to plan and execute retail programs.
  • Offer support for future brand innovations of insights, ideation and positioning
  • Take lead in cross-functional teams that may include Salon, Experiential to manage brand objectives, goals and strategies.
  • Plan, lead and manage the brand team

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree is required with a bias in Marketing
  • Professional Qualification as CIM is an added advantage
  • At least two years of progressive Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing experience.
  • Marketing leadership and demonstrated track record in advertising development, new products, and brand plan development.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams to impact decision-making and drive results.
  • Excellent track record in identifying winning consumer insights, growth opportunities and priorities, and influencing alignment to execute against strategic growth plan.
  • Possess the ability to think analytically and strategically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues.
  • Experienced coaching/mentoring skills to develop a brand team.
  • Past exposure working in Market Research, Advertising Agencies, Sales, and R&D

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction and supervision of the Transport Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will perform the following tasks:

  • Receive and store spare parts from overseas and local vendors, checking quantities against packing lists and purchase orders, checking qualities as per requisitions specifications with Receiving and Inspection unit, receive them in the system Galileo by codification (open stock card number) and bin location setting. Organize the warehouse in a way to find the goods every time it is required to be database’s reflective.
  • Use the computerized warehousing system (Galileo transaction history, Mercury and Business Object), analyze stock history data in order to maintain an efficient and reliable automated inventory-stock control system. Control the stock of expendable and non-expendable tools and equipment and prepare periodic reports on their locations and inventory
  • Receive sector’s requests of spare parts and material; study them to ensure easy support to all MONUSCO regions or sectors through MOVCON unit for shipment and updating electronically the stock accordingly by preparing Transfer Vouchers or Issue Vouchers.
  • Support the Store Manager with parts and equipment technical details by manipulation of parts manual or e-catalogues for maximizing requisition help identify and locate local vendors for petty cash and direct purchase.
  • Intuitively review stock levels at a regular base to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained; obtain maximum productivity in the receiving, inspection and the consumption to facilitate the preparation of requisitions.

  • Ensure the safe keeping of files and documents; classification, filling and archiving of store unit file documents.
  • Assist and protect all sensitive Transport Section property in the stores.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the aforementioned United Nations job should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical Training in Stores management is desirable
  • A minimum of four or more years of progressively responsible working experience in the field of administrative or property management, logistics, procurement, warehousing, inventory control and/or other related fields.

Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Fluency in oral and written French is an added advantage.

Job Summary: The incumbent will primarily monitor the implementation of systems, strategies for managing quality improvement initiatives impacting core clinical processes and critical patient care functions as per the in the attached regions in line with MoH policy for CQI and mission for Baylor Uganda CQI unit.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Clinical officer’ with an MPH and registered with a relevant professional body with certificate in quality improvement
  • Two or more years’ experience in managing HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs/projects with a reputable international NGO, and direct experience with government and donor representatives
  • A minimum of three or more years’ experience in Quality Improvement approaches and training clinical service providers. Prior experience in the use of Collaborative approaches in QI would be an advantage
  • The applicant must have written research abstracts and manuscripts and even presented in conferences or published
  • Key personal competences in Team, networking and communication skills, Must be dynamic, Persuasive &convincing, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
