Mengo Hospital is a Church of Uganda Missionary founded Hospital and Private Not-For Profit (PNFP), It is categorized as a General Hospital, but operationally a Referral Hospital. The Missionary Hospital developed into the present-day 300-bed hospital, spread over 22 acres of land at Namirembe Hill in Kampala. Mengo Hospital seeks to recruit suitably qualified person to fill the following vacant position. Deputy Medical Director-Administration
Job Summary:
• Responsible for supporting the Medical Director in the development and execution of Mengo Hospital strategy by providing strategic and operational oversight and supervision of the hospital in; Risk/Compliance, Operation processes, business growth, use of ICT in hospital management, and strategically support the Medical Director in key administrative decisions in line with Mengo Hospital’s corporate and Governance structure as well as annual work plans. .

Qualifications and Experience:
• The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree either in Medicine or Health Sciences OR IN Business Administration or Management, OR IN Public Administration.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration/ or Management or Hospital Management is a must.
A minimum of 5 years working experience in administrative or Management position at senior management level in a reputable institution.
• Experience working in an appropriate healthcare Institution is an added advantage.
