Makerere University Academic Registrar calls for all the students that graduated from the university to please come to senate building, Level 5, Room 513 with the following requirements.
- original academic documents (transcript and certificate)
- photocopies of the academic documents you with to certify
- proof for payment for certification (3,000 per copy)
Academic registrar also calls any company or organization seeking for a verification on academic documents issued by Makerere university, it should submit the request to senate building room 601 at the university with the following requirements
1.proof of verification payment of ugx: 50,000/=
2.a letter addressed to the academic registrar requesting for verification
3. copies of academic documents that you need to verify
It should be noted that Makerere University on Tuesday 8th November, 2022 officially commenced a two-week Public Fair on Academic Transcripts and Certificates at the Freedom Square. Spearheaded by the Department of the Academic Registrar, the Public Fair is technically supported by the Directorate for ICT Support (DICTS), Finance Directorate and staff from Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
This was done to enable anybody who has any issue with their transcript or certificate to get that issue resolved so that they can walk home with their document.
