Ian Kafuko has been voted Kyambogo university Guild President 2015/2016.

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party candidate beat two other candidates in a tight race.

Nsubuga Julius who was the flag bearer for the opposition political party in Uganda; Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) became second while Proscovia Nantege of Democratic Party (DP) managed to win from behind.
