Job Title: BCC Assistant (Several Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

About US:

Uganda plans to conduct its fourth Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets Mass Campaign for Universal Coverage (LLINs UCC) in 2023 where approximately 28.5 Million Mosquito nets will be distributed. The Implementation of this campaign will use the wealth of experience and great lessons accumulated since the first mass LLINs campaigns was conducted.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a degree in Communication, Community Health, Social Sciences, Education or related field.
  • A post graduate training in related fields is an added advantage.
  • Must have at least three years of experience in designing, implementing and evaluating behaviour change communication interventions.
  • The candidate must have participated in any of the past LLIN campaign doing SBCC related work.
  • The Candidate must demonstrate knowledgeable practice of working with districts, nongovernmental and community based organizations as well as government departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player. Demonstrate good interpersonal communication, supervision and management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills.
  • Computer skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is an added advantage
