Job Title:  IT Engineer

NFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for it valuable client, an FMCG company. NFT Human Resource Solutions are customer tailored per industry requirements and are geared towards increased cost savings, process improvement leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The IT Engineer will be responsible for resolving network and IT related issues.
  • Also, he /she will be ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly.
  • Installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within the organization.
  • Responsible for managing e-mail anti-spam and virus protection.
  • Monitoring network usage.
  • Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers.
  • Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the IT Engineer vacancy must hold a College Degree or above with Network Communications or Computer Science major.
  • Professional CCNA or CCNP certificate.
  • Project Management Certificate (preferred)
  • At least three years’ experience in network maintenance.
  • Practical experience with CISCO switch router, Call Manager, VoIP Juniper and other network devices.
  • Experience with TCP/IP protocols
  • A very positive work attitude
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Willingness to travel
