Prof. Charles Olweny, the university’s Chancellor presided over the function.
Graduates were conferred Degrees and awarded Diplomas.
11 of the total graduated were conferred Doctors of Philosphy (PhDs).
In a a speech read by the Minister of Science & Technology, Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, on behalf of the Minister of Education & Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni, graduands were urged to remain ethical in the competitive world to which they were being ushered.
In attendance was Prof. Celestino Obua, the Vice Chancellor of Mbarara University of Science and Technology, parents, among other guests.
Mbarara University of Science and Technology is one of the public universities in Uganda.
