Makerere University Business School (MUBS) staff Vow to lay down tools Over Unfulfilled Promises

This will be the second of its kind if the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) academic staff lay down their tools as vowed on Sunday this week.

A month ago, the lecturers had organized to strike due to unpaid salaries but decided to call it off after the ministry of public service and ministry of education and sports promised to look into their case.

However, the MUBS staff have lost hope and patience in the ministry promise.

Brian Muyomba ays they are left with no option but to lay down their tools until their concerns are addressed once and for all.

In an interview with KFM reporters, Brian Muyomba, the Makerere University Business School Academic Staff Association chairperson expressed concern that although government had committed to address their salary discrepancy, nothing has been done yet.

Muyomba emphasizes that a general assembly will be convened on Wednesday November 11, 2020 to come up with the final plan.
